Dealing With Acne during Pregnancy

Most women will boast of having soft and glowing skin during pregnancy. This however is not the case with most other women. The levels of hormones in a pregnant woman’s body are usually high and this can either bring acne or make an existing condition worse. They will find brownish spots on their faces especially around their cheeks which of course is not very attractive. Many people go directly to the medical store to look for a cure but are disappointed because most of these medicines aren’t to be used during pregnancy. This article will explain some few ways you can deal with acne during pregnancy without putting your baby at risk.

If you have this problem, wash your face twice a day with a mild soap. If you use moisturizer, make sure it is oil free. It is important to wash your face with your hand instead of scrubbing with a wash cloth. Popping and squeezing the pimples won’t do you any good. Avoid this as it can cause bacteria to spread or leave scars. It’s always advised to consult your doctor in any medical case as the will give you the best medication for any condition, acne included.
