Majorly four manifestations of acne are considered mild or moderate forms, namely: pustules, papules, blackheads and whiteheads. Pustules, forms of acne are more commonly observed among teenagers. These are also referred as zits or pimples. They are red colored inflammations that generally have a pus filled pointed head. Thus color of the filled pus may be range from yellow to white to cream or in rare cases, cream color with a green hint. Papules on the other hand are similar to pustules, however, they lack the pus filled head. In general cases, papules are found in the combination with pustules on the skin surface. This acne form is tender to touch and red in color. Attempts of their removal by manually squeezing them out prove disastrous as doing this leaves scars on the face. It is imperative to treat any form of acne immediately, lest they leave scars on the face. It is worth noticing that the mild presence of acne is not hard to treat. They are present on the surface of the skin and thus can be easily removed by the application of topical creams rich in anti-acne chemicals. Or, one can simply try the special antibiotic medicines which treat the accumulation of acne within a few days.
